As parents, makers, and designers, we noticed something missing in today’s childhood — too much clutter, too many screens, and very little calm.
Mizo Toys brings together traditional Indian craftsmanship and thoughtful technology to create toys that children can listen to, learn from, and feel comforted by. Each toy is handcrafted from sustainable wood, finished with non-toxic natural colors, and gently brought to life with audio stories, rhymes, and lullabies.
Our toys are designed for children aged 1–6 — to support early learning, and become a comforting companion during playtime and bedtime alike.

What's New?
Craftmanship
Handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans, inspired by the legacy of Channapatna wooden toys, a Geographical Indication (GI) tagged product. Each piece is shaped, finished, and assembled with care, making every Mizo toy unique, be it the texture of the wood, color shade of the natural lacquer due to seasonal variations, and the variations due manual craft.
Child Friendly
Designed for young children aged 1–6, our toys are made using soft wood and non-toxic, child-safe colors. The wood is naturally seasoned without any chemical treatment. Coloring is done by using natural dyes such as Turmeric for yellow, Indigo for blue, or Kanchi Kum Kum for Orange etc. with Lac, a natural resin, for the finished glossy polish.
The Electronics components are completely covered inside the wooden frame with only the buttons popping out.
Sustainability
We believe in creating toys responsibly. Our toys are made in eco-friendly manufacturing aiding the livelihood of many artisans and supporting a traditional heritage industry. From sustainably sourced wood to minimal, eco-friendly packaging, Mizo Toys is built with respect for both children and the planet.
